MINI Countryman

Launched in India, the 2021 MINI Countryman facelift brings updated styling, enhanced features, and a refined powertrain. Introduced globally in mid-2020, the refreshed model arrives in India in two variants:

• Cooper S – ₹39.50 lakh

• Cooper S JCW Inspired – ₹43.40 lakh
  (All prices, ex-showroom India)

Locally assembled at BMW’s Chennai facility, the facelift carries a modest premium of ₹1 lakh over the previous version.

Design & Exterior Highlights

While retaining the classic MINI silhouette, the 2021 Countryman gets notable cosmetic upgrades:

• New LED headlamps and fog lamps (standard)

• Gloss black mesh grille and reworked bumper

• Union Jack-themed LED taillights

• Silver front bash plate

• 17-inch alloy wheels (Cooper S)

• 18-inch alloys with run-flat tyres (JCW Inspired)

The JCW Inspired variant adds a sporty edge with:

• Contrast white roof

• Rear spoiler

• Comfort access system

Standard (Cooper S):

Performance

The diesel variant has been discontinued. Now, the Countryman is petrol-only:

• 2.0L TwinPower Turbo petrol engine

• 189 bhp & 280 Nm torque

• 7-speed DCT (Cooper S) / 7-speed DCT Sport (JCW Inspired)

• 0–100 km/h in 7.5 seconds

• Top speed: 225 km/h

• Drive modes: Sport and Green
